The Fort Collins Series of Poker

The Finals for the Fort Collins Series of Poker,  are May 3rd  at the Stonehouse Grill.

 

Come out and cheer on my husband Bryon Mackey as he plays in the finals of the Fort Collins Series of Poker.

The final tournament has been set for May 3rd  at The Stonehouse Grill in Downtown Fort Collins. Registration will begin at 11am and cards will fly @ Noon.  Players will be playing in a winner take all fight,  for a seat in the 2008 World Series of Poker. This seat in the Main Event is valued at $10,000 or the player can take the option of a $7500 CASH Prize paid that day.

5K and 1 K run/walk with pets on a new course. Cost is $25 for adults, $22 for CSU students with ID and $10 for ages 7 - 12. Proceeds will benefit the Companion Care Fund and the class of 2009’s scholarship endowment. Race day features the run-walk along with awards, raffle, food, music and informational booths.

The Community Business Showcase will be on Saturday, April 26, 2008 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Roosevelt High School, 616 N. 2nd Street, in Johnstown. It is “Where Community and Business Meet.” Exhibitor set up will be on Friday, April 25 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. The Showcase will “showcase” 85-100 exhibitors and is family friendly. Come see the diversity of businesses in Johnstown, Milliken and the region. There will be a special “non-profit exhibition” where you can visit with clubs, organizations and churches in the area. See birds of prey from the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program, enjoy entertainment by Enerjazz, have fun viewing pictures of the Pet Contest, get your treasure at the Silent Auction, and enjoy some food. Child care will be provided.
